1. Broccoli 

Broccoli packs a powerful punch in the fight against allergies, so you may want to stock up on these babies.

This natural allergy relief remedy is high in the immune booster Vitamin C, containing approximately 80 mg per cup. The daily recommended amount of Vitamin C is around 500 mg.

As a member of the Crucifer family, Broccoli also aids in clearing the sinuses of any blockages.

Even though it has super awesome benefits, mothers everywhere will still struggle to get their kids to eat it for dinner tonight. 



2. Coconut Oil

Who ailment doesn't coconut oil heal? Seriously! This stuff is magical.

As your first line of defense, you may want to try putting a little oil in your nostrils to block the pollen.

Adding a bit to your smoothies won't hurt either. A lot of the symptoms associated with allergies are linked to inflammation in the body, and coconut oil is a great anti-inflammatory food.

The lauric acid found in coconut oil is a natural immune system booster. Breast milk is another great source of lauric acid.

And finally, it battles yeast growth quite well too. Yeast overgrowth is another big contributor to the seasonal allergies epidemic.



3. Parsley 

The selling point for most prescription drugs for allergy relief is their anti-histamine quality.

Some scientist believe that it is able to reduce inflammatory molecules in the body, which would alleviate many of allergy symptoms like swollen nasal passages (and the pain that comes with it).

It is recommended that you take this natural allergy relief remedy as a tea or as a freeze dried capsules (500mg, 3x per day).

As always, be careful when using this or any herb. Researchers say nettle may deplete the body's potassium if taken long term.



5. Elderberries

This fruit is usually strictly associated with treating cold/flu symptoms, but they're great for allergies too!

Elderberries have incomparable immune-strengthening qualities that naturally help the body to defend itself against intruders.

They also contain flavanoid, which are effective in reducing inflammation.
